Not designed for incremental hypothesis-testing. The hypothetico-deductive method is more appropriate for testing within an existing category. IAI generates the category.

Output quality is bounded by input quality. A vague provocation produces a vague framework. The method amplifies the researcher's prior orientation.

The unknown-unknown problem persists. The AI sparring partner can only object from within its training data. Survival under AI challenge is not survival under all possible challenge.

Citations must be verified independently. Links reduce hallucination risk but do not eliminate it. Verify before academic use.

A Confirmed Position is explicitly provisional. It is the best available account given current knowledge and the quality of the challenge it has survived — expected to be superseded.
